My advice / a head start for summer
For a smoother summer, start hair removal in autumn.
Finer regrowth, less noticeable hair over time and an easier routine: these are possible benefits of regular sugaring or stripless hard waxing. Autumn gives you time to start and discover the difference before summer.

You can start working towards a smoother summer as soon as you bring out your jumpers. Several months of regular care may change how your hair grows back and how your next treatment feels.
At Adelia Beauty in Kolín, I use both sugaring and stripless hard wax. I choose according to the treatment area, hair and skin sensitivity. Autumn is a good time to find what suits you and follow up with regular appointments.
01 / Consistency
What might you gain by summer?
Both sugaring and waxing pull hair out at the root. Repeated treatments may lead to softer, finer regrowth. Some people also notice sparser, less visible hair over time. Changes depend on your hair, the treatment area and individual growth.
- 1
Finer, less noticeable regrowth. Regular visits allow time for changes that a single pre-holiday appointment cannot show.
- 2
Easier follow-up treatments. Finer regrowth may make later hair removal more comfortable, although pain sensitivity varies.
- 3
Less last-minute planning. By summer, you will know which method and appointment spacing work for you.
Start in autumn. Give regular care time to make next summer easier for you.
Finer or sparser regrowth is a possible benefit, not a promise of a particular reduction by a set date. Neither sugaring nor waxing provides permanent hair removal.
02 / Two salon options
Sugaring or stripless hard wax?
With the usual manual sugaring technique, the paste is removed in the direction of hair growth. It is water-soluble and can be used on various body areas. Your skin and hair determine suitability.
Hard wax sets after application and is removed without a paper or fabric strip. It also grips hair and pulls it out at the root. In the salon, I adapt the method to the area and your sensitivity.
You do not need to choose the method before your first visit. Tell me which area you would like treated, whether you have tried hair removal before and whether your skin is sensitive. I will help you decide.

03 / Autumn to summer
A routine that follows your regrowth.
Begin with an autumn visit to see how your skin responds, then follow up over winter. By spring, you will understand your regrowth and home care better and can plan your summer appointment ahead.
Appointments are often around 3–5 weeks apart. This is a guide, not a fixed schedule for everyone. Your treatment area and hair growth may call for a different interval; we will adjust it to your actual regrowth.
Between visits, let hair reach the agreed length and avoid shaving just before your appointment. Shaving does not make hair thicker, but it does shorten it and can affect the timing of your next treatment.
04 / A convenient start
Autumn makes the first step easier.
Letting hair grow under long sleeves or trousers can be more convenient than during swimsuit season. You have time to try a treatment and ask questions without a holiday deadline.
For at least the first 24 hours afterwards, avoid tanning, sunbeds, saunas and hot baths and protect the skin from friction. An autumn appointment can fit neatly before a quiet evening at home. I will explain aftercare for your method and skin response.
05 / Your first appointment
Getting started at Adelia Beauty.
Message me on WhatsApp and we will choose an area and time. I offer hair removal for women and men, from underarms and legs to backs and intimate areas. You can start with a small area such as your underarms.
Let hair grow to about 0.5 cm; we will confirm preparation for the chosen area. Arrive with clean skin without cream and wear loose clothing. Tell me in advance about irritation, skin conditions and retinoids or acne medication that may affect suitability.
06 / Common questions
What to know before you start.
Will I have less hair by summer?
Regular hair removal may produce finer and, for some people, sparser regrowth, making it less noticeable. The extent and speed of change cannot be promised. Starting in autumn allows time for several visits before summer.
Will later treatments hurt less?
They may, for example if hair becomes finer. The area, skin sensitivity and individual pain tolerance also matter, so I do not promise a pain-free treatment.
Do I need to choose sugaring or wax in advance?
No. I will recommend an option based on your treatment area, hair and skin sensitivity.
Is spring too late to start?
Hair removal is available year-round. Autumn simply gives you more time for regular visits and finding the method and spacing that suit you.
